Citizenrē is positioning itself to be the world’s leader in the development of renewable energy infrastructure. Its three interrelated lines of business – Materials & Devices, Systems & Generation, and Transmission & Distribution – are uniquely focused on providing vertical integration of the renewable energy industry, and serve to standardize and maximize processes and business performance, and to control supply. This is none more apparent then in Citizenrē’s arrangement of the largest fully-integrated PV manufacturing plant in the world. The 500 MWp capacity plant will process raw materials into 8 million 250Wdc panels annually – enough to install PV on roughly 100,000 residential rooftops each year, or the equivalent of 2 times the 2005 installed capacity in the U.S.

The business lines are supported heavily by the Company’s Research & Development group and its Business Development team. As, principally, a development company, the Business Development team seeks out opportunities to increase energy supplies, whilst the Research & Development group seeks out opportunities to modernize the energy infrastructure. An example of this dedication is the Company’s filing of 15 patents in the areas of devices, designs, and processes. The patents are part of the Roadmap to making PV power competitive at the wholesale level, not just as a retail substitution.
