How Solar Leasing Works
EPC Process
The Site Review
The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction process (EPC) starts with the site review of your residence performed by one of our system designers. During the site review our system designer
will take measurements of your lot, your home,
take notes of your roofing materials, your roof
orientation, and assess the present shading factors
and those that may build up in time. The system designer
will also take the time to explain to you what
will be occurring in the weeks to come, and what
to expect from your REnU. If you have any questions
about anything, please feel free to ask. We will
be more than happy to answer your questions
to the best of our ability.
System Design and Approval
Once the site-review is completed, our system designer
can design a system that both fits your home and
meets as much of your electrical needs as possible.
It should be noted that due to certain shading
factors, roof orientations, and physical roof
space, your system may not be able to accommodate
your total energy need. It may in fact only provide
a portion of it, but we are
still willing to install and rent to you the REnU
at the fixed rate.
This design is available to you at the conclusion
of the site-review. You can then approve of the
general plan and proceed to the next steps. If
there is any discrepancy with the design, by all
means, bring your concerns to the attention of
our system designer and we will do our best to accommodate
you.
Security Deposit
Following your authorization, you will be required
to pay your first and last months. After that, the
system designer will seek the appropriate permits, apply
for utility interconnection, and submit appropriate
paperwork to lenders for subordination and to
county recorders for filing. This process may
take a few weeks, but at the conclusion, Citizenre’s
team of installation technicians will be prepared
to have your system installed and ready to operate
in a day.
Installation
Once your paperwork is in order, we will contact
you to set an installation date. Citizenre installation
technicians will then install your REnU and prepare
it for final inspection. Once the local inspectors
and in some cases your utility have inspected
the installation, you are ready to begin taking
advantage of fixed-prices, more reliable service,
and 100% clean energy. |
