Transmission & Distribution
The Company realizes that part of modernizing the global energy infrastructure is to reengineer transmission and distribution activities. The requirements of the grid are not necessarily a complete change, but more of an augmentation. Electricity distribution needs to be managed in a more effective manner. Energy must be capable of being stored and delivered on-demand and through a number of alternative routes: customers, distributors, and generators must have transparency in the flow of electrons, so that they can respond to unpredictable capacity demands and capitalize on revenue opportunities. With these subtle changes, our energy infrastructure can promise a level of service unparalleled by today’s abilities. It will also prepare us for the inevitable transition of the transportation sector and the escalating demand for power as our society relies more upon electricity to achieve a 21st century quality of life.
In view of this shift, control over the distribution of energy, dynamically and in real-time, so that the grid is responsive to immediate demand needs, is therefore paramount in transmission and distribution. Citizenre’s intellectual property in demand-side management and supply-side management prepares it for this fundamental shift.
At the outset, our IP enables us to monitor energy usage – at the consumer level – in a distributed environment to better understand the usage profile of a complete geographic territory. With this core knowledge, the Company will employ a robust demand-side opt-in protocol to implement peak-shaving practices that are beneficial to both the utility and the consumer.
Following this initial effort, we can then design a system for controlling supplyside in a smart multi-node network that integrates distributed and centralized resources. The foundation of this infrastructure also allows T&D activities to layer services, and leverage their assets to gain new revenue streams.
Adding to this progression into a modernized infrastructure, Citizenre will take into account its promotion of and venture into storage technology and design energy swap protocol for stabilizing energy variations. Storage technology successfully controls the distribution of energy; with distribution control, Citizenre knows and understands that it will not just simply curb demand spikes and decrease peak rates, but it will also firm delivery from intermittent generation sources such as solar and wind.
The culmination of these efforts accomplishes the modernized grid. Combined with new energy supplies, Citizenre is positioned to evolve into an energy service provider that possesses a significant competitive advantage over the marketplace.
Our focus on renewable technologies and an elegant responsive grid provides us with a means to deliver a 21st century quality of life. It further enables us to support the anticipated transition of the transportation sector away from foreign oil. The infrastructure and needed energy supplies will be placed throughout the entire grid – at-the-home, at-the-office, and on-the-road. And our control over the seamless distribution and transmission of all that power undoubtedly guarantees the attainment of our Vision.
